Have you experienced workplace discrimination because you aren't considered "diverse"?

You’re not alone.

Many people, especially white, Asian, male, and heterosexual individuals, have faced unfair treatment in hiring, promotions, or terminations because they are the "wrong" race, sex, or sexual orientation. If you believe you've encountered discrimination during:

  • Job applications or interviews

  • DEI trainings

  • Decisions around bonuses or pay

  • Internal advancement opportunities, or

  • Day-to-day workplace interactions

We want to understand your experience. Americans for Equal Opportunity is gathering firsthand accounts to better understand how discrimination affects workers across all backgrounds and industries. Your story matters and could help create more equitable workplaces. Some forms of illegal discrimination we have seen include, but are not limited to:

  • Leaving a job opportunity open until a "diverse" candidate can fill the role or a target number of "diverse" candidates have applied

  • Creating an unposted job opportunity for "diverse" candidates

  • Hosting work events or mentorship opportunities exclusively for diverse employees, and

  • Staffing "diverse" employees on projects to meet client requests

Share your experience by completing our confidential form below and joining us in achieving a more just America. We may reach out to you to learn more.
